The Luib Hotel is a unique establishment successfully combining modern comfort with the character and historic interest of an ancient drovers' inn dating from the 17th century, then as now, offering sustenance and shelter to the weary traveller. Over the centuries, the building has served as a farm house, a manor house and a family home as well as hotel or inn. The present owners, Jim and Mary took over the hotel in 2016, and take pride in making the Luib a totally pleasurable experience for guests. The accommodation consists of six en-suite bedrooms. All rooms have a TV, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer and bathroom ammenities, high quality bed linen and towels help to add a touch of luxury to your stay with us. Each morning of your stay at the Luib, a full Scottish breakfast served in the dining room will set you up for an action-packed day in the activities of your choice. There is a wide choice of meals avaliable during the day and evening using locally produced food and a well stocked bar with open log fire. The Luib Hotel provides the perfect base whatever your activity - whether you are just taking in the sights or doing something more strenuous the area has something for everyone. Discovering the local area on two legs puts you in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park with its many Lochs and Munroes. The area has many excellent golf cources and cycle routes.If none of these are for you then spending a day's fly fishing on the River Dochart or loch Tay for salmon could be your thing.
